This bike has quite a history . As the story goes, it is a 44' 741 30.50 military bike that was originally sent to Hawaii for duty . After the war it stayed on the islands, was modified  into a  bobber, and much later ended up in the hands of the rock band " Metallica" .

The bike then migrated to the mainland, where I bought it at the antique motorcycle show in Davenport (03'). I have since made many changes to the bike, but the paint and the basic style is the same. I ride it all the time , it is really a lot of fun and it draws quite a lot of attention. The 12 volt alternator keeps the lights bright at night, and the straight pipes help announce my presence !
My Harley friends are surprised by the acceleration and all around great performance of this bike .  I'm a die-hard Indian fan , I'll be back in Davenport again next year looking for another project  ! A  Chief bobber !
